Tour and Help Plant Edibles -- April 14

In celebration of Earth Day, Patricia Lindquist will be leading a free tour of Troy Gardens' Natural Areas on Saturday, April 14th at 10 am.  Visit our prairie, maple woodland, edible woodland, herb garden, and more!  Learn about the many delightful areas that are open to you at any time, the edible plants that are available for harvesting, and the upcoming workshops and volunteer opportunities in the Natural Areas.

Following the tour, we will be planting plums, currants, and serviceberries in our Edible Woodland.  We will prepare the beds, plant the new edibles, mulch, and water.  No gardening experience necessary - we will teach you!

Pending donations, we may have additional trees, shrubs, and berries to plant in addition to those already purchased.  If you would like to donate edible plants from your garden, or make a monetary donation to assist with their purchase, please contact me at patricia@troygardens.org.

There is no need to register in advance for the tour/planting workshop - just show up!  We will meet by the red sheds (visible from Troy Drive).  Things should wrap up around 12:30 or 1 pm.
