Gardening for Good: the supported gardening project

Gardening for Good is a Dane County supported pilot program introduced at Troy Gardens in 2012. Supported gardening assists people with developmental disabilities to explore gardening in a community setting, where the level of participation is individually tailored to meet the person’s skills and interest.

There is an active blog (including lots of photos!) by the participants at gardeningforgoodmadison.com and you can find an overview in the About section.

To volunteer, see this form.
