Volunteers in Winter

Troy Land & Gardens

Help maintain the land at Troy by pruning, mulching, and watering trees or participating in a restoration project! You can also attend our Drop-in Volunteer option, Herb Garden Night.




Troy Community Farm

Friday Drop-in Farm Volunteer- Join the Troy Community Farm crew for planting, weeding, mulching, harvesting and more! Volunteers are welcome at the 5-acre, organic, vegetable farm every Friday morning from 7-12am, May through October.

 Troy Kids' Garden

Help maintain the Troy Kids' Garden and assist with gardening, nature education, cooking and art activities for children from community centers and schools.


Goodman Youth Farm

Sign up to help with hands-on garden projects during our Saturday morning volunteer days - individuals and groups of all ages are welcome! We also welcome individuals with an interest in outdoor education to volunteer weekly with our farm-based youth education programs.


 Special Events/Projects

Help us plan fundraising and community events, complete office work or other program specific projects, or join a committee of our board of directors: fund development, communications, site management, or an advisory committee.

Service Learning for Community Groups and Schools

Youth volunteering at Troy Gardens.Our programs are great for schools and community groups looking for service learning opportunities.
