CSA Share Options

Weekly Share ($640)

21 Weekly Shares (June – October)
This share includes a weekly selection of vegetables designed to feel plentiful, but not overwhelming to households that enjoy eating fresh vegetables. Each share has 8-10 different vegetables in the early season (about a grocery bag full) and 10-12 in the later part (usually requires a second bag).

Every Other Week Share ($395)

10 biweekly shares (June – October)
The same selection and quantity of vegetables as the standard share, except that members only pick it up every other week.

Market Share Membership ($300)

*Available only at Troy Farm pick-up site, Thursdays 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
This share is a totally different type of CSA arrangement. Instead of getting a set selection of vegetables on a weekly basis, members get a credit to use at our farm stand whenever they like throughout the season. Members may come to any or all of the pickups and select as much or as little as they need. Credits are arranged as follows: June - $30; July and August - $135; September and October - $135. Any unused credit from a given period will not carry forward to the next period. However, members may use future credits at any time. This arrangement encourages members to shop at least a few times each credit period and helps us to prevent shortages at the end of the year.

Eggs are available through Prairie Bluff Farm. Their certified organic eggs have a dedicated following in Madison.

Friend of Troy Farm Share ($50)

New this year!  This isn’t a share at all, but a way to support and stay connected to Troy Farm.  For your contribution, you will receive all the perks of Troy Farm membership without the veg. (newsletters, bulk ordering, access to u-pick flower garden, etc.).  You will also receive your choice of one of the following: $15 gift certificate to the farm stand, a $15 donation to the Beginning Farmer Training Program, or a Troy Farm tote bag. 

 

Member Pick-up Options

Thursdays, 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
June 7th– October 25th

Most of our members pick up at the farm on the northside of Madison. We set up a market style display where our farmers are present to answer questions throughout the pick-up. Members pack their own shares and often have choices about which specific varieties go into their shares. If members miss the pick-up window, pre-packed shares are available at our after-hours pick-up, from 6:30 PM on Thursday to 6:00 AM on Friday.

Payment Assistance

HMO Rebates

Partner Shares Program

Payment Options

Full Payment

Enclose a check for the total due or pay with a credit card online.

Extended Payments

Four payment periods staggered over the course of the season to help distribute the total cost of the share over time. Enclose checks to be dated: today’s date, June 1, July 1, and August 1. Each check should be made out for ¼ the total due.

Worker Share

A worker share trades labor for a CSA share. We have three types of worker share positions:  full-season field worker share, summer field worker share, and pizza worker share.  Learn more about our Worker Share Program.
