Camp Policies

Cancellation Policy

If you need to withdraw from a camp for any reason, please inform us in writing:

  • At least one month prior to the start of camp to transfer your registration to another camp, or at your request, a refund (less 20% admin fee)

  • At least two weeks prior to the start of the camp to transfer your registration to another camp, but no refund will be given

We are unable to refund for missed days of camp. For any non-attendance or cancellations received less than two weeks before the start of the program – you will not be issued a transfer or a refund.

Camps canceled by CGW because of low enrollment will be automatically refunded, (less a processing fee of 6.25%). CGW reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment.


Behavior Policy

CGW staff uses the positive techniques of guidance, including logical or natural consequences applied in problem situations, redirection of children to more acceptable behavior, anticipation of and elimination of potential problems and encouragement of appropriate behavior rather than comparison, competition or criticism. Consistent and clear rules will be established. Staff members encourage children to solve problems rather than imposing solutions and help children to recognize and respect one another’s feelings.

CGW reserves the right to dismiss a child for consistent behavior that makes it difficult or impossible for the staff to meet the needs of the other children in the group. This will occur without a refund (or portion thereof) or credit towards a future program. This will occur only after parent/staff discussion has occured.
